Anyone who wants to reliably record the material throughput of their drying and conveying installation cannot do without a precise weighing unit. The qip throughput monitor is mounted on the dryer lid or directly on the production machine and measures actual material consumption gravimetrically — in real time, during operation. Evaluation runs through the qip dryer controller; if consumption exceeds the configured limit, an alarm is triggered. The recorded data can be fed into MES / production-data systems.

The throughput monitor is a ring-shaped load-cell adapter that sits between the conveying unit and the dryer or machine inlet. It delivers the exact material throughput in kg/h and signals when a configured limit is exceeded. The interfaces required for integration into production-data (MES) systems can be provided via the qip dryer controller.
