A high dust content in plastic granules can cause serious quality issues during the production process. Especially in the increasingly required recycling processes, a high dust content arises that absolutely must be removed before the production process.
The HL-C-DK series from qip makes it possible to eliminate a very high dust content from the material during the conveying process in a compact design. The dust is collected in a catch container for proper disposal. The result is a batch that is dust-free to a high percentage, allowing trouble-free further processing and ensuring the quality of the end product. The use of expensive dedusting plants becomes unnecessary.
The HL-C-DK series operates on the principle of vacuum conveying. After transport of the conveyed material into the separator, the actual dedusting process takes place: the granulate is whirled up, the loosening dust particles are drawn with the air stream into the included catch container. The standard integrated air-outlet filter is automatically cleaned after every conveying cycle, drastically reducing maintenance intervals.
qip's dedusting units are available for processing one or two materials. The latter version allows deactivating one channel, so operation with only one material is possible at any time when needed.
